In 1985 The Dalai Lama asked as a matter of urgency that The Meridian Trust preserve Tibetan culture at a time when its very existence was threatened. They have now archived over 2,500 hours of video footage which is one of the largest and most authentic resources of Tibetan Buddhist film in the world. The new quest is to make this footage available online for everyone to view and benefit from and a new website is needed to make this possible.
