At Alexanders, our Eco-Aware Policy is very important to us. As one of London’s leading removal and storage companies we use a lot of energy so we try to reduce our impact as much as we can here in the UK.
We also try to help with energy projects overseas and make regular donations to the Border Green Energy Team (BGET) who bring renewable energy & sustainable technologies to refugee, minority & rural communities along the Thailand-Burma border. BGET have been working since 2005 and have dramatically improved the lives of those living in local communities. You can read more regarding their accomplishments here.
We are delighted that one of the directors of BGET, Salinee Tavaranan, has been named in the BBC’s 100 Women 2014.
