Local mum, and entrepreneur, Sam Pope, has earned herself a place in the final line-up of The Mumpreneur Awards, an annual ceremony aimed at celebrating parents throughout the UK who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life. The mother of two from North-West London, runs the Alexander Group, a leading London removal and storage company based in Park Royal.
Sam has been shortlisted for the Best Supporting Business Award, sponsored by Anna Kennedy Online, which is open to businesses who physically work closely with clients, where interacting is an integral part of the job. Having built Alexanders over the last decade, Sam hopes she has what it takes to walk away with the prize.
As well as being shortlisted for this category, Sam is also in with a chance of winning the title of The Inspirational Business Mum 2013, sponsored by The Formations Company, which will be awarded to the mum who is an inspiration to all women in business, and could walk away with a fantastic prize.
Having reached the finals of The Mumpreneur Awards, Sam said: “I am very honoured to be shortlisted in these awards. Moving house can be a very difficult time in a person’s life and I have spent the last ten years working hard to try to make it as easy and as stress-free as possible! Winning this award would mean a lot to me.”
Judging Sam’s entry will be a panel of top entrepreneurs including former Dragon and Mumpreneur Hilary Devey, but she’ll have to wait until 30th September, when the winners will be announced at The Mumpreneur Conference and Awards, being held at the Holiday Inn.
