Tomorrow the Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off with England playing Fiji at Twickenham at 8pm and we’re all extremely excited here at Alexanders! Not just because we think Chris Robshaw has a great chance of lifting The Webb Ellis Cup on October 31st but because Alexanders has been helping out the RFU and The Pulse Group with removals and storage in the run up to the event.
We sent an ‘A’ team of six men, a 7.5 tonne lorry and a Luton van down to Twickenham on September 7th to pick up a whole load of furniture from the President’s Suite , the stadium’s most prestigious facility which plays host to Royalty and VIPs on match days. Led by our Senior Surveyor Tony Vullo and removal foreman Tomak, our expert commercial team carefully wrapped all the furniture before transporting it back to our secure commercial storage facilities where it will all safely reside until after the World Cup. We’ll be dropping it all back again after the event.
Here is the Alexanders team hard at work on the job.
We were delighted to be asked to work with the RFU and are looking forward to working together again in the future.
